Jeff Foshee

Jeff Foshee was a standout football player at Stanhope Elmore before graduating in 1990. He later played for Gene Stallings and the Alabama Crimson Tide as a walk-on. Foshee played fullback from 1991-94 before graduating in 1995. Foshee returned to Stanhope Elmore in 1996 and became the head football coach in the fall of 2000 succeeding his father. Over the next fifteen seasons, his Mustangs went 105-72. All but four of his teams qualified for the state playoffs and two won region titles. Jimmy Foshee was the head football coach at Stanhope Elmore for 25 years from 1975-99. His Mustangs went 209-83-1 over the course of his career as a head coach. Coach Foshee spent two seasons at Curry in 2019-2020 and accepted a position as the defensive coordinator at Marbury for one season. In 2024 he took over the football program at Autauga Academy.
